Co-Chairs Ron McDougall and Randy Woodside announced the decision to cancel this year’s Solidarity Parade in Massena, due to continued threat of COVID-19. It was a decision that was not made lightly, as this will be the first time the parade was cancelled since its inception in 1981. They believe that “worker safety is a hallmark of the labor union and that the decision not to hold the parade and picnic will help achieve that goal”. They look forward to a Solidarity Parade in 2021.
