Be vigilant for letters from the Comptroller's Office regarding the Pension Fund you may receive in the mail. These letters are to notify members that the pension contributions by the employer are inadequate. These letters are derived from the retirement system and sent directly to the members. Action is required on the part of the member. If the member so chooses, please contact the union office as we have an active file on this issue.
Also, due to an error in payroll/accounting during the payroll period ending 12/21/19, there is an adjustment to the union dues reflected on payroll period ending 1/4/20. This adjustment reconciles the earlier error.
