Holiday Party and Toy Drive

On Thursday December 12, 2019 The St. Lawrence County Democratic Committee in collaboration with the New York State Democratic Committee and Jefferson, Lewis, St. Lawrence Counties Central Trades and Labor Council hosted the annual Holiday Toy Drive at Sergi’s Italian Restaurant in Potsdam. Thanks to the amazing generosity of working men and women across the North Country, the drive was able to donate almost 1000 new toys to less fortunate families across the region. County Democratic Committee chair Mark Bellardini remarked that this year’s haul eclipsed last year by over 35% and although pleased was not surprised “These folks always come out for most in need.” Central Trades President Ron McDougall echoed Bellardini’s sentiment adding “Organized Labor is proud to partner and work collaboratively to address the needs of the less fortunate in St. Lawrence County.”
