We had a great turnout for the 6th Annual IBEW Golf Tournament. A total of thirteen teams played at the Twin Ponds Golf & Country Club on August 24th. We had teams from Clark, Niagara Local 2104 and many 2032 Retirees.
We would like to say a special thank you to all our sponsor this year: Tyndale, NILICO, UECU, Handstitched Media, and the Laborer’s Local 1822. A big thanks to Roy Lawrence, who printed the signs for the sponsorships. We would also like to thank Mark Zieman & Chuck Gibbs for setting up and organizing the tournament with Twin Ponds, keeping track of the teams and making sure everyone had a great time and a fantastic meal. Also thank you Matt Ward for collecting the registrations and organizing teams at CEC. Next year we hope to make this event even bigger and better!
The winners were:
- 1st place: Team Zieman, which consisted of Mark Zieman, Dick Zieman, Joe Kasprzyk and Bill Blunt.
- 2nd place: Team Suwek, which consisted of Ryan Suwek, Richard Suwek, TJ Eberley and Mark Eberley.
- 3rd place: Team Team Gibbs which consisted of Chuck Gibbs, Matt Ward, Matt Hovey & Mick Santiago.
- Longest drive: Chick Gibbs (seniors) and Ryan Suwek.
- Closest to the pin: Matt Ward.

A foursome consisting of JJ Gray, Stacey Bond, Chris Wiley and Bryan Peets participated in the 36th Annual Massena Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament.
