Thank you to all the members and their families that walked with us in the 45th annual Solidarity Day Parade. Senator Dan Stec and Assemblyman Scott Gray marched with us again this year.
Thank you to Randy Woodside, Parade co-chair, for ordering the T-shirts, and driving the truck and the float which NYPA allowed us to use this year. Thank you to Molly Hopper, Chris Wiley, Stacey Bond, & Tim Thisse for decorating the truck & trailer again this year. They did an excellent job! The theme was “Every Worker Deserves a Fair Pension…Fix Tier 6”. We came in 1st pace!
Thank you to Randy, Molly, Chris, JJ Gray, Zack Barney, Chase Cameron and Desmond Doyle, who helped to set up the tents at Springs Park and hand out T-shirts, candy & balloons. Below are a few pictures of the float and some of the members that walked with us. (more will be added to the website).
Congratulations to the winners of the raffle tickets, listed below! We truly appreciate every member that sold tickets for the local and the Shop Stewards for all your hard work to collect them. Four of the ticket winners were either IBEW Local 2032 members or were sold by one of our members.
