Annual Adopt-A-Highway

Our annual spring Adopt-A-Highway clean up date is scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, at 10:00 am. All members and their families are welcome to attend. This is a great opportunity for students to earn community service credits and for new members to meet coworkers they may not see regularly. Please arrive a little early to sign in and receive your gear, as safety guidelines will be reviewed prior to starting.

• Meeting location: Twin Ponds, across from Route 131 at the Barnhart Island Road intersection.
• DOT will provide trash bags, hard hats, and reflective vests. Members are encouraged to wear NYPA safety gear, including vests, gloves, and waterproof boots if available.
• Pizza and wings will be provided afterward at Coach’s Corner as a thank-you for your service.
