March is Women’s History Month, celebrating women’s contribution to history, culture, and society and has been observed annually in the US since 1987. It provides an opportunity to honor the generations of women who have helped to build our Nation, secure equal pay, and equal rights, and strive towards social justice and freedom for all peoples. We remember important women that stood before us to close the gap of inequities and paved the way, such as Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Rosa Parks, and Susan B. Anthony.
