We understand that members and retirees have received a letter in the mail regarding United Health Care and their in-network coverage. We have been told that the local NYPA HR department emailed Brenda Verdisi regarding this letter. They were advised that UHC is in open negotiations regarding this, as their contract expires on April 1, 2022. Brenda hopes to have an update next week and will send out another letter to members with the answers that she has received from UHC.
