The Solidarity Parade was held on September 5th. We had a fantastic turnout of members and their families once again, with the weather cooperating this year! We had an outpouring of political support, as several local and state politicians walked with us once again this year. Assemblyman Mark Walczyk, Assemblyman Billy Jones, Senator Dan Stec, and Essex County Supreme Court Judge Robert J Muller were all in attendance. We had a great participation from members to sell parade tickets, the Shop Stewards were a great help this year! Thank you once again to Molly Hopper for taking over Randy Woodside’s spot on the Solidarity Parade Committee this year as well as Chris Wiley, Danielle Rose, and Stacey Munson for their assistance with decorating the float. We received 2nd place this year.
