• We will send out the flyer with the pertinent information regarding the IBEW Local 2032 Scholarship for 2025 next month. The final date for the office to receive your senior student’s application with all the requirements will be mid-May 2025. The scholarship will be awarded on Thursday, June 5th, 2025. Letters will be sent in the mail to all applicants, and the winner will be announced in the July newsletter and at the union meetings.
• This is a reminder to pay attention to your paychecks to make sure your FSA contributions, benefits and deductions are correct.
• We anticipate having our semi-annual BJ’s Wholesale Club renewal/new membership drive in March. Please check your email for further information in the next couple of weeks.
• Union officers and negotiation committee members will meet with NYPA in March to have a strategic session. Vision 2030 is among one of the many topics to be discussed. We anticipate this meeting will give us helpful insight in preparation for the upcoming negotiations next year.
• All members should have received their copy of the updated Local 2032 bylaw and IBEW Constitution books. If you have not received one, please contact your Shop Steward or the union office and we will get you a copy.
