Member Participation: Christmas Parties and 3rd District Youth Caucus

Thank you to all that attended the STL Children’s Christmas Party at the Nicandri Nature Center. This year we had 20 children, and their families attend. Due to unforeseen circumstances Santa was not able to make an appearance, but each child received a present and an ornament. It is still not too late to request an ornament. If you would like one, just email the union office to let us know the name of the child. We hope to make next year’s party the best yet-we have some new ideas and plans in place!

 

We would like to thank Mike Scranton for organizing the CEC Holiday party held at the 5 Points Public House this year. Members had an exceptional meal, and around 35 members and guests were in attendance. Thank you to all that attended to make it a success again this year.

 

Are you a young worker that would like to discuss volunteer ideas for upcoming trainings? One way you can do this is to attend the 3DYC Zoom meetings for one hour, one evening a month. The IBEW 3rd District Youth Caucus is a great way to get more involved. Feel free to check out their Facebook page and let the union office know if you would like to attend the monthly meeting.
