A message from Business Manager William Brown
Labor Day is an annual celebration of the social and economic achievements of American workers. Labor activists pushed for a federal holiday to recognize the many contributions workers have made to America’s strength, prosperity, and well-being. Local 2032 celebrates the American worker at the Solidarity Day Parade, exhibiting the strength of the trade and labor organizations of the community. This is followed by a gathering at Springs Park with our members and their families.
This year, the Solidarity Day Parade will take place on Monday, September 2nd, 2024, at 11:00 am in Massena, NY. Please join us to march in the parade and receive your t-shirt, balloon, and bucket of candy. We will meet in front of the MILC Building on Center Street by 10:15 or 10:30. The theme this year is “Fix Tier 6”.
