We hope everyone and their families had a happy and healthy holiday season. May the upcoming year be full of successes and good fortune as we celebrate all that we have accomplished in this last year. We are grateful for your support and assistance; we could not have achieved everything we did without our members.
We have received “Thank you” cards and letters from all the food pantries that we sent monetary donations to from the proceeds of the STL Food Drive. All the entities were extremely grateful for the donations, especially this year. We hope to increase the amount of donations we have for 2022 as well as the number of organizations that we can support.
Please keep BG member Dustin Truesdell in your thoughts and prayers. He was recently involved in a motor vehicle accident and he is recovering at Albany Medical Center. It is our expectation to request vacation day donations from the membership as well as NYPA Management. Please stay tuned for more information to follow.
We continue to monitor COVID-19 positivity rates and how the members are advised to use their time. Please contact either the union office or talk to your Shop Steward to advise us of your situation and the circumstances surrounding this.
